Two Down.... One to Go.

Alright... I use to joke, that Charlie and I got married young.... had our kids while we were young... so that they would all leave home while we were still young enough to enjoy "life" as grandparents and such.

So, what have our kids done????? Three weddings in 2 1/2 years.!!!

Zach and Brittani will be getting married, Feb. 12, 2011 in Garland Texas. Not only will I get a daughter in law, but I get to add another notch to the "grandma" belt. Or as Savannah likes to call me.. Gamm ma. I love to hear her say that..So stinkin sweet.

So, lesson learned... be careful how you plan... because sometimes God gives you what you ask for... Now, the empty next.... is getting emptier by the minute.

I love my kids... and when they were growing up, I wanted to RUSH some years... like a freight train on roids... but, now.. I'd like to go slow motion.. on somethings... rewind on others... and can't wait to see what tomorrow brings on the rest.

God has blessed Charlie and I tremendously and for that... I am very thankful.

My Halloween Monkey

Samuel was so darn cute in his monkey Halloween costume! Bless his little heart, he was such a big baby, that we had to put the outfit on him, snap pics, and peel it off of him. We didn't know when we bought it, that he was going to be a 11 lb monkey!!

It just doesn't get any better than this! He is a doll baby for sure. He requires many kisses from his... Grandma... Granny... Mema...MaMa...Nana... Whatever he may chose to call me... He'll know he's loved and kisses are welcome 24/7!

So Blessed, It's Unbelievable!!!

Have you ever stopped to count your blessings? Well, why not? Get out a legal pad of paper and begin writing down all the things you have to be thankful for. Don't forget the small things, and then ... there's the bigger things.... the list is endless. I am blessed with three terrific adult kids. God also gave me the most wonderful husband! Charlie is perfect for me! He is very patient.

And now, God is blessing me the title of Grandma! This is the most prestige title!
Jennifer is due to be "mommy" in 4 weeks. She and Ben's lives are about to change more than they could ever imagine. God is putting Samuel into their care.
Thank you God for all my blessings.... There are so many. I am truly blessed.

Wow..what a beautiful day. God was really on his game! Three days before the wedding, it rained buckets @ precisely 5:00 p.m. (this was the time of the wedding) It was HOT, as it should be for a July day at the beach. But, on Megan and Jeremy's wedding day, no rain.... no direct sun... cool breeze and beautiful.
We could not have asked for a nicer day. Thank you Lord for a beautiful day, a beautiful daughter and a new son in law. We are truly blessed.

My Baby's Baby and more.....

This is my oldest baby. She's 26 & 22 weeks pregnant. She has a sweet little boy, resting and waiting to meet his grandma. I'm sure he'll get to see his parents some, but he's heard all about how cool grandparents are. I think I saw on the ultrasound, him making a list of things he's going to want and need, that his parents won't get for him. He's putting them on the Grandparents list.

This has been a good few months. God has been more than generous to my family.

I am more than blessed with a wonderful husband, three great kids, one son in law and one son in law to be. (July is coming!) And now a sweet little grandson in Oct.

Charlie and I can only say, Thank You Lord.... and mean that with all our hearts. Thank You.

I love Spring.... minus a few things...

I love spring... minus the pollen, the sneezing, the crazy change in temperature... which can occur hourly. Then there is the changing of the "clothes" in the closet. Pack up the winter clothes, and bring out the spring-summer clothes. What's going to fit this year... and what's not.

As I was driving down the highway the other morning, I noticed all the colors of Green. I know..you are thinking, Suzanne turn on the radio and don't worry about the colors of green.

Have you ever look at how many shades of green there are?

All the different colors of Green, shows God's sense of humor. Think about it.... Have you ever tried to match greens? It's gotta be frustrating.
